this is what i get when i try posting / making a thread
members face the same problem. even if i post a normal message /post


Please correct the following errors before continuing:

• The message is too long. Please enter a message shorter than 9 characters (currently 42).
  
  

forum admin panel >> Configuration [Settings] >> Posting >> Maximum Message Length

if 9 appears there then change that to 65535 & save the settings
