I've seen a couple of plugins which add an extra column into the forum views that then allow you to put in a forum icon.
What I'd like to be able to do is something slightly different.
I'd like to be able to replace the round icon on the left that shows you if there are new posts or not.
Instead of the round grey/black circle I would like to be able to put a custom image for each forum in this spot.
The idea being that when there are new posts it would be full brightness, and then when there are no posts the image would look 'washed out' rather than greyed out.
I wondered if anyone would be interested in trying to put something like this together?
