Does the Unova theme work with the current MyBB version?
have you purchased it from Audentio site ? which version did you buy & when did you buy ?
I'm about to buy it from the theme house website. It says that it requires mybb1.6
^ if so, it was coded for older version of MyBB - not expected to work fine with recent versions of MyBB
Edit: however I'd suggest to contact the theme coder and ask about the theme's compatibility
