I've not touched anything aside installing a theme (Flatty)
I get no errors, it simply does not send the email.
I have set an email set for everything

Any ideas?
I can give more information if needed

does system mail log list any errors ? if so quote a few entries from it

No errors in the System Mail Log

which mail system you are using (php mail / SMTP mail) ? if SMTP then who is the provider ?

^ have you tried php test mail given at faq: mail ? if not yet then try it

This did not work (I created a file called mailtest.php under /public_html/inc) although resetting a password for an account works. (I used the same email)
There is still no errors either

no just copy them to public_html/ not to the inc folder... then open the domain [forumurl].tld/mailtest.php

Thank you! I seemed to have only got the following error:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '@' in /home/nexonnet/public_html/mailtest.php on line 3

Change line 3 to

 $to = '[email protected]';

and replace "[email protected]" with your mail address... note the ' on start and end of your mail... you just make a syntax error... the doku seams to have this failure to.
