Maybe be more specific about the changes you would like to replicate. That forum has not been modified much, Some of the changes and plugins you will find outlined in tutorials here on the forum.

You can modify portal.php to create a homepage like that, but it is a lot of work.
You need to create a three column layout first for portal page.

How do i create the news system like habboinhabbo?
