I just uploaded the files to my server. It is a Windows host. When I start the /install url, it gives me the error:
The configuration file (inc/config.php) is not writable. Please adjust the chmod permissions to allow it to be written to.

As I said it is a Windows host. I don't think there is a chmod there. How do I troubleshoot this error? Any help is appreciated.

I did look at the link and the doc. It says that on windows we don't need to change the property. Is there anything else I should do on Windows.

Thanks. That's what I'm doing. running the /install/index.php
However it comes back with "Not Writable" error for the four files.
Help...

ok..thanks..removed the url.

What kind of web server are you using? ISS? Apache? Are you running under administrative permissions?

checking with my service provider, if there are some administrative permissions....

It is on a Windows server using IIS.
Are there any settings in IIS ?

This is working now. The service provider changed the settings.
