This is a tutorial on how to change ban message:
Go into global.lang.php (located in: inc/languages/english/global.lang.php)
Then go down until you find:
$l['banned_warning'] = "Your forum account is currently banned"
And change "Your forum account is currently banned" to whatever you want also, there are many other things you can change around that code in global.lang.php.
