I found a lot of plugins that I want to use on my forum and I tried to install one of them (BAM Announcements Manager) but it didn't work.
I put all the files where it wanted me to but when I clicked on Announcements in the admin panel it gave me some weird DNS error.
what is your forum url & which theme you are using ?
for the BAM announcements plugin, did you get DNS error or SQL error ?
can you try it again & post the error message here

Give me a minute, I will have to reupload the files to post the error.
Edit:
Odd.. this is my 3rd time doing it and it magically worked........
I'll update this post if I run in to any problems with the other plugins I plan to use.
