Pretty much suggesting to add permissions for custom MyCode so you can only restrict the use of it to certain groups. This would be incredibly useful for staff groups as well.

An extension does exist for this yes, but I'd think it's a feature worth being implemented.

I'd love to see this in 1.8 and the future 2.0 build. If this suggestion is agreed upon, I'll see if I can help contribute to getting this implemented.

This is a nice idea.

+1 for MyBB 2.0; I support it for 1.x if it's easy to fix and won't detract too much effort from 2.0

there used to be a plugin for that (in 1.6)
