I just installed MyBB MySEO on my website and it caused me to not be able to see profiles, I read the documentation but it didn't work.

Can someone tell me how to fix this, please?

the code displayed at plugins page should be added to .htaccess file [note: file name has a dot at the beginning]

I did and when i did it gave me a 500 internal error.

can you check latest entries of server error log to find the cause of error 500 ..

login to forum admin panel & navigate to tools & maintenance section. click on View PHP info (left column menu)

search for mod_rewrite (use browser search) - does it appear in loaded modules ?
if it doesn't then contact your web host (or whoever manages web server) & ask to enable mod_rewrite

It doesn't come up at all.

have you checked server error log ?
