I suggest a feature in MyBB 2.0 where each plugin in the Plugin List has a checkbox to activate/deactive or install/uninstall, similar to Wordpress. This would make trouble-shooting easier instead of one-by-one deactivating a plugin to see if a plugin is causing the issue.
I can see this as useful, if a bit tricky.

The actions available for each plugin depends on its current status plus which methods are defined in the plugin file. How does MyBB determine the order to run the action? Some plugins depend on other plugins being activate.

Yup, and as all plugins will need to be rewritten, I suspect this is a moot point. Installed or not installed, active or not active. 2x checkboxes. Sorted.
