I am unable to log out of the forum.. I'm a newbie and have just installed a fresh copy of MyBB 1.2.9. It says:

Quote:Your user ID could not be verified to log you out. This may have been because a malicious Javascript was attempting to log you out automatically. If you intended to logout, please click the Logout button at the top menu.

I have read the post that is stickied but I still don't understand much about editing.

Did you upgrade from another version?

Nope I haven't upgrade. Its a brand new copy.

my forum is http://www.unrealcolony.com

It looks your cookies are wrong: [Wiki: Cookies] (Broken link, head over to docs.mybb.com instead)

on my admin panel it says

Quote:The path which cookies are set to, we recommend setting this to the full directory path to your forums with a trailing slash.

So I have to add the path as:

http://www.unrealcolony.com//

Or

http://www.unrealcolony.com/

If your URL is http://www.unrealcolony.com then your cookie settings would be as follows:

Cookie Domain: .unrealcolony.com (notice there is a period at the front of that)
Cookie Path: /

Alternatively, you can use this tool to tell you: http://www.dennistt.net/mybb/cookiesettings.php

I saved that as my settings. When I try to log out, it still says
