Of course as soon as I post this, after pulling my hair out and having a panic attack I managed to solve the problem.

Apparently with PHPMyAdmin you can repair tables yourself.

Ignore me.

Updated from 1.8.10 to 1.8.12, for about 15 minutes everything was functioning properly and well.

THEN all of a sudden I am given an error and cannot continue:

MyBB SQL Error
MyBB has experienced an internal SQL error and cannot continue.

SQL Error:
145 - Table './isoldehn_mybb16/mybbne_posts' is marked as crashed and should be repaired
Query:
SELECT COUNT(pid) AS newposts FROM mybbne_posts WHERE visible=1 AND dateline>'1497585318'
Please contact the MyBB Group for technical support.

Site works perfectly fine if you are visiting any page other than PORTAL.

It seems that the portal page is the only one not functioning.

With the way my forum is set up, the portal page is the landing page:

When going to the index page the site works just fine (as well as other pages).

Any ideas what might be causing this?

(I do have a backup of the site as well as a backup of the MySQL database from directly before the upgrade).
