I'm building a forum in which I'm using flatty as my theme. With the theme I get few side boxes I would like to display a set of latest posts in one of these boxes please see the image below



Is there a way to get this done I don't mind doing some coding but I'm not familiar with how myBB works so if some one can guide me to get this done would be grate.

you can install Top Stats plugin & add related variable to required location on the index template of the theme

Thank you very much this plugin was the exact one I was looking for had to adjust the default code to fit my need now it's just fits in right at home.

Look at the box now exactly the way I want it to be grate man.
