Hi,

I'm experimenting with creative ways to use two domains for the same MyBB 1.2.9 board (the extra domain is hosted as an addon, not parked domain)
  • The config file is shared (same database)
  • Most 'settings.php' are the same, but obviously not 100%

My main question now is related to the modified theme.
  • My older board 1.2.7 (now upgraded), had modifications to the theme.
  • The new board 1.2.9 (on another URL) was a 'clean install' > Then emptied the data tables > import data from the other board.
  • Everything works well except I need full control over both themes
  • The older theme has the same color changes I made...
  • ...the newer theme has the default table header color (blue)
Quick summary:
  • When I add or manage sub-forums (for example) both URL's are updated (through the database)
  • The theme file is stored in the database, so...
  • ...with the (theme related) exception of images (stored in different folders), how can the table header color be different on one URL?
  • They both read the same database for 'theme.xml', so any idea how I 'created' the different color scheme?

Thank you very much.
I'm confused. The URLs of forums aren't stored.

If you have two different themes you can have a different header colour.
