One of the users reported that this has happened a few times. Originally reported on 6-29-2017.
On 7-5-2017, I updated to MyBB 1.8.12.
It still happened after that.
When he logs in, he'll see himself logged under a different SN than what he selected.
Then when he tries to make a post, this is the error he gets:
+++++++++++++
There was an error posting your reply: Authorization code mismatch. Are you accessing this function correctly? Please go back and try again.
Default theme or other theme ? Link to site ?
Can't really see anything wrong. You may want to run the question by your host as well, when users see other user's account information it could be a problem on the server side.
Ok, I'll try that.
My host created a test account and tried logging in and posting. Didn't see any issues.
I don't know what else to do.
Is there something with the cookie that I can check?
basically the problem could be due to the
caching system at server level (as
Euan said at your
earlier thread)
when I checked yesterday, initially there was a
cache hit status. later it was shown as
cache miss
right now (GMT 0315)
cache status is =>
X-Nginx-Cache-Status: EXPIRED
do you still have the referred problem ?

It's never happened to me. But another user has reported this happening repeatedly since 6/29/2017.
It still happened to him today morning.
Here's the thread where he (@Eze) reported it.

What I've experienced, which I mentioned here below, is sometimes after logging in, it says it was successful but then shows me as a guest. If I try again in 2-5 mins, then it works.

How did you check the cache status?
Thanks again for your time.
