Hi,
Is there a theme or plugin available that will allow me to display 2 column or 3 columns on home page as below?
First column will display regular forum. Second column will display latest posts and third column will display latest threads. Or may be just two columns.
Something like this:

You want something like WordPress widgets ?
Have you tried the portal mode ?

You are already showing that you are using W3-Responsive theme. in the extras folder is the sidebox plugin which gives a 2 column layout. And I saw your post in last poster avatar support thread, there's guidance to use avatars with this theme:

Yeah I just saw it and it looks interesting but I will have to think about it more.

Oh yeah I missed that plugin. It contain a lot of features. But when I activated, it was showing that in a very narrow sidebar probably because I have also enabled some other plugins. Let me play with it a little.

In the sidebox plugin settings you have to select
show on the right side.
I have just submitted another build which fixes the rating column width, and i will also update the instruction for avatars shortly.

Great because I was looking to add custom section in side bar for e.g. to display ad or some image. But I saw that not all themes have this option so this tutorial will really help.
