Has anyone used mybb 1.8 with PHP 7 and MariaDB? Is it working fine or did you face any issues?

There are no known issues regarding MariaDB compatibility. MyBB 1.8.x is compatible with latest versions of PHP (1.8.13 will contain minor fixes for PHP 7.2) and MySQL.
