How do I identify what files? How can this be prevented? I install the simple way. Download from mybboard.net. Upload and unzip on server. delete documentation. rename Upload. then run install directory because apparently everything is already permission right.

It actually looks like the font files are corrupt. Can you delete inc/captcha_fonts and reupload that folder in binary mode?
Done, still doesn't work.
Does it work if you just delete all the fonts out of inc/captcha_fonts ?

QuestionsLeadToGreatWisdom, can you try re-uploading files from the MyBB download? Just make sure you don't upload inc/config.php and inc/settings.php
