I am not sure since i have not tried this on 1.6 , since i never had a chance to use alt tags in image.
But i do have to use them now for the sake of Google and i am using them as below

[img alt="my girl"]http://i.imgur.com/dP0CZ7u.jpg[/img]

Am i going wrong ?


Or is there a better way to do this or worst case scenario the myBB doesn't support it or has a bug  ?

Any help appreciated on alternate text for images.

you can try custom MyCode like this or try using alt-img plugin coded for a older version of MyBB

(see also changing the plugin compatibility to try it on MyBB 1.8.x)
