I have a forum already, its well over 10 years old but with all the hands that been on it, its a bit messy.
I want to change the name, domain, etc.....should I create the new forum and after try to move all post/threads into it?
you can install a new forum & try using the
Merge System to get contents of old MyBB forum.
What's the odds of that turning out good....I don't have forum building skills in case something goes very wrong. lol
no harm is done as you already have your old forum's database backup.
i.e. you should keep a spare copy of your old forum's database backup.
if you are not comfortable in doing it yourself,
you may
hire someone experienced.
