I am looking for the following option.

Our goal is to be every day certain number of contributions and topics. This should be a hand statistic.

We say, goal is to be 10 posts and 5 topics within 24 hours

This should go at 00:00 to 23:59 and reset at 00:00.

Can you add such a plugin / mod.

If you want to display threads and posts separately your best bet would be to edit the daily post goal plugin. I think I've done it before and it was quite easy. Whatever code it's using to grab the existing posts, duplicate it and do the same for threads. You'll need to edit the code a little bit and then you want to create an extra setting that allows you to input your thread goal.
