There used to be a plugin for this-- if I recall correctly, the problem was that IMDb blocks hotlinks to their images...which made the images break on the forum. I don't know if there has been any change (this has been years ago)

I understand. In this case it is necessary that the IMDB images be downloaded and hosted on some server before being used in the forum.  

Thanks for the clarification. It must be very difficult to develop a plugin with this feature.

I'm a huge movie buff so I REALLY wanted the IMDb tags on my forum, but at the time I was just a beginner with coding and I couldn't figure out how to fix it.

Maybe I'll take another look at it.

As to difficult, I can't say. The problem with that isn't difficult exactly. Its that not every admin wants to host the entire IMDb catalogue from their site. Keeping in mind that once the tag is used the image will be needed FOREVER so old posts aren't full of broken images...

There could be other ways to do this using the OMDB API for instance but also IMDB do have an unofficial API out and about in many forms also themoviedb has an API so you could really cross check all the info from both sources to fill the holes.

so there are some options available just like everything else time to do anything i am sure Wildcard can do something like him i am into this just do not have the time to do anything too ill to do much now days cant even get time to do my own projects.

yeah i have it at that cost and maybe i have to down the price to 15 but i have to update into my store only the price.

And images are allowed sue it takes entire codes from external APIs, not IMDB ones data, so all is request by the server who provides the API.

Ok the new price is updated, by the way i have given as a free gift to some users who have contributed into the mybb scene who have asked me for it so i do not know who have this mod, but i have worked so hard into it to provide a good mod for users who can get it
