Hello,

I have just been asked by my super moderator if I could disable flood protection for her. I was under the impression that super moderators didn't have flood protection, has this changed in a recent release? If not, is there any way of removing flood protection for super mods?

On a side note, is it possible to allow a certain period of time for users to edit their posts before the "edited by.." is added so they can have a chance to edit any quick mistakes?

Thanks
Login onto your admin cp then go to:

Board settings > change > Posting > Post Flood Checking and edit the post flood time. Super Moderators override the post flood by default, though.
I have tried that but there is no disable flood control option there. I am running 1.2.8.
I updated my first post, please check it again.
Thanks for the reply, I thought that super moderators weren't affected by flood count, but it seems mine is which is strange.
Can I have a link to your forum and maybe access to the specific mod account?
Does the usergroup the user is in have the "Is Supermod" permission enabled?
