I upgraded from 6.1 to 8.1 today and all the forums/posts have centered text. There are also some other issues that have come up like the menu on the home page looks out of place. I use the default template.

Try deleting the default theme and create a new one through admin panel.
I installed and switched to a new theme but still getting the same problem. Not only are the forums and posts showing up centered but when you go into a specific thread, all the posts are show up together without any separation. Any recommendations would be appreciated.
Thank you for the reply. I made all the recommended changes however, I am still having the same issue. The theme changed to the new one but I am still getting all the text centered and all the threads blending together. Is there maybe a way to set up the default template from scratch to see if that would help?
I installed a different theme and it seem to take care of the centering problem. However, there is still no separation between threads. All of them seem to blend together. Is there an easy fix for this?
