Hi folks,

I installed a fresh 1.8.12 yesterday. Inline moderation works fine with the default theme, however I've installed a couple of themes from the community site and both are resulting in the inline moderation error. Looking at the stickies, they're talking about the problem occurring only with certain types of themes (those that modify the headerinclude). Also, apparently this was fixed for 1.8.10.

NimbuzzTR consists of only a single xml file and doesn't include the ver=1809 referred to in the troubleshooting post.

Any suggestions on how I can overcome this?

MyBB forum system consists of templates access through forum admin panel.
And required code adjustments can be directly done in the templates.

you can check above referred code changes at :

Forum Admin Panel >> Templates & Style >> Templates >> your theme templates
--> ungrouped templates --> headerinclude template

Looks like the problem was due to the templates I downloaded having not been updated for a long time. I downloaded the Square template and it's working fine.
