Hello everybody,

For a while now I've been having several issues with attachments on my website https://www.guildwarslegacy.com, but I have been unable to resolve them.

What I have already verified:
-> Path to the attachments is correct. I have verified them in the database and they're stored in the right place.
-> Files are uploaded.
-> The files, once downloaded and renamed to .jpg, open fine.
-> Records are made in the database.
-> The path is writeable.
-> MyBB 1.8.12

The error I get is that once the attachment is downloaded/presented, I get the message that there was an error downloading the image.
An example of this can be found on: https://guildwarslegacy.com/attachment.php?aid=264
For this image I have verified the attach file and the thumb file as working (https://guildwarslegacy.com/uploads/2017..._thumb.jpg / https://guildwarslegacy.com/uploads/2017...7d8.attach)
With the current path setup this should work, only it doesn't.

Upload path is verified within the admin as being correct - anybody has an idea what might be going wrong?
The attachment link you've provided seems to just constantly load for me. Perhaps a link to the actual thread where the attachment is?
Can you run the file verification in your ACP to confirm your attachements.php is in original shape?

File is unchanged, and I have re-uploaded a new copy with no results.
Reviving this because it remains unresolved without response.
I am experiencing the same issue.

MyBB version: 1.8.15

When opening the .attach file with an image viewer the image shows just fine.

Hello,

No leading whitespace and BOM found in any files.
Any issues that might be caused by these files? I don't think they should be relevant to the issue.
