How can you setup the forum so when facebook shares a page, or at the very least the index, it shows content, instead of being blank as it is now

fixed with an old plugin. Who says you cant use old plugins on the latest MyBB lol

Apart from what @Omar Said, you can just use meta tags in your headerinclude and use variable from Google SEO plugin. I wrote about this in the below tutorial related to MyBB SEO
