So a friend of mine asked me if i could make a forum for him, and someone told me mybb was really great. But how do i use it? And wich hosting services does mybb work on?

MyBB should work on most if not all hosting services. Read here for how to install the latest version of MyBB. You may also wish to read here to help you decide on what type of hosting to go for.
