Hi,

i just upgraded my PHP version from 5.6.31 to 7.0.25, iam getting the following error

"MyBB has experienced an internal error and cannot continue.

Error Type:MyBB Error (44)"

please anyone help me solve the issue?? am able use the mybb with older version of PHP, but the issue is that my other sites work better with new version and i cannot use the older version due to performance issues.

have you checked server error log to find the cause ..

can you temporarily rename plugins folder as pluginstemp and check if the forum appears back ..

HI, I just changes the config.php file settings from "mysql" to "mysqli" and it is now working fine.

jfi, basically error 44 says that sql extension is not loading [MyBB faq: errors]
