Hello MyBB plugin support team!


Here is my environment:

MyBB Version 1.8.13
PHP Version 5.6.32
SQL Engine MySQLi 5.6.38

Theme:
My Responsive 1.0

Plugins:
MentionMe (3.1)
MyAlerts (2.0.3)

Is there any particular reason why the following cannot be translated from the mention.lang.php file?

UCP -> Alert Settings

Receive alert when mentioned in a post?

// MyAlerts
...
$l['myalerts_setting_mention'] = '¿Recibir alerta cuando se te mencione en un mensaje?';

No matter how I try, it won't translate. I created the following path for it:

/inc/languages/espanol/mention.lang.php

I have tried the default MyBB skin (theme) and it is the same thing. Since the Language Pack doesn't translate plugins, we have to translate those if the plugin author doesn't do it. So I don't think this has anything to do with the Language Pack.

If I'm missing something, please let me know.

The problem is that you need to upgrade to the latest version of MentionMe (3.2).

The problem you are having was a bug and was fixed in version 3.1.1: https://github.com/WildcardSearch/MentionMe/issues/143
