If there's one thing that has annoyed me with MyBB it is the (lack of) Edit legend control (the This post has been edited by text that appears when you edit a post).

Currently there are 2 settings that, if enabled, remove the edit legend. This has 2 flaws: 1, it offers little control on who can remove the legend (the 2 settings control only staff and all other members) and 2, if the setting is enabled, it only removes the legend; there's no control if you want to display the edit legend).

I suggest implementing my plugin Legend Permission which adds a group permission for the edit legend and adds a checkbox to the edit page giving the end user the ability to show/hide the edit legend.

It would be nice, if instead of having the lengthy message, there could be an icon signifying that the post has been edited or something. I've always found it a bit wordy for most cases.
