Hi everyone ˆˆ

Hopefully this won't be the gazillionth' time someone asks this question....

I wonder if MyBB has a language pack/plugin as I'm looking for support in specific Scandinavian languages. In other words, if some kind of shared directory exists where I can access it?

EDIT: Should have probably posted this in another part of the forum. If an admin sees it, please feel free to move the thread.
Yes, it does. You can also create your own languages too if a language pack does not already exist for the language you are searching for.

Language packs are stored in the inc/languages/ directory.
You can also vew a list of all translation projects on the mods site, here: https://community.mybb.com/mods.php?acti...ategory=19

Thank you very much Smile

We're considering adding myBB to our website, and need translations for the Scandinavian languages. Makes it a lot easier with pre-existing translations.

Thanks a lot. Didn't take long to find the language packs I was looking for Smile

We're adding a discussion forum to our website Lånius.no and its Scandinavian counterparts, so it's good to have pre-made translations.

One last question though: Are we expected to pay any type of fee or donation to the author to use his translation? I know it's open source, but wanna know what the normal etiquette is..

I also noticed that the Norwegian author hasn't translated the ACP. Will just go with his advice, as he says it's not necessary

There is no obligation to pay the author of a language pack any kind of fee if you decide to use it. It's completely optional. Smile
