Inline moderation was broken so I attempted the fix that was stickied (which i, ya know, just now realized is out of date) and it broke my site. So I reverted the files. My site still is a heap of, well, what appears to be a lack of javascript functionality.

didn't touch the others
which version of MyBB you are using & which theme ?
I'm using mybb 1.8.13
I'm using the baze theme.
I did upgrade that day and everything was working fine until I goofed and gaffed and did the outdated fix.

MyBB 1.8.13 has some changes in the
templates & style css.
basically
javascript &
modal popup related codes need modifications.
upgrading guidance Wrote:Visit your Admin Control Panel, then go to Templates & Style > Templates > Find Updated Templates.
This will show you a list of all the templates that have changed during the upgrade.
You can either revert these templates to their default - meaning all the changes you've made to it will be removed
- or you can see a Diff Report which will show you exactly what's changed. If you have a custom theme installed,
it is probably best that you look at the Diff Report and apply the changes you need.

I've reverted all files that I haven't edited to the original, as well, and nothing has seemed to change.

Hey .m.! Yeah, it seems that modals and the likes are working on the theme Carbon for now, but baze is royally messed up-
but thats ok! I wanted to switch to the carbon theme anyways
