I suggest having some kind of security panel for 1.10, including info about:
- Live traffic (who reached which page from where, bot or guest?)
- Suspicious users (user activity with same IP within short period of time)
- Login attempts to user accounts.
- Login attempts to admin control panel.
- Changes on templates.
- Changes on core files.
You can add suggestions for security panel if you think there could be something more/less by replying.
All good things to have within the ACP (and maybe the MCP too, with permissions?).

I also agree with the Mod CP permissions option
Sockpuppet account detection would be good as well.
