I want my members to get referrals, so they keep asking me for referral link instead of new members look for the referral in the referral box.
how can i do that?

i want the referral box to be filled automatically not by looking for the referred username .

You can go to your User CP. There you have following message:
To refer a member to this board, direct them to http://{your forum url}/member.php?action=register&referrer=1
or another number for another user. That will automatically put refferal for that user...

You have that written when you enter your user cp. And each member have his own link in ucp.
Where do you want to put it? Each user can share his link...
