i keep getting this error whenever i try to edit something ex. a template.

Not Acceptable
An appropriate representation of the requested resource /admin/index.php could not be found on this server.
Additionally, a 406 Not Acceptable error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

looks like there is some additional security measures by your web host [eg. mod_security]
contact your web host to fix it.

Did you rename "admin" directory ?
or did you applied any CDN / Load Balancer like Cloudflare?
