For some reason I can only modify the order of the last 3 usergroups. And there are others that are default too that don't let me order them, so that's not an explanation.

Is this a bug? How do I fix it?

Yeah, that's not a bug. By default you cannot edit order of default usregroups. Maybe there is some plugin or something, I don't really know.

Are you saying the fact I can only order 3 random groups but not the rest is not a bug, having a whole column labeled "order"? Bug definitions are getting sloppier.

I want it because I have an eye for detail.

well, above referred Group Order means displaying order of those groups on the show team page (eg.)

so if you want to show other groups members on the show team page then
you can select related option at the Group's settings and
those groups display order on the show team page can be changed as required.

forum admin panel >> Users & Groups >> Groups >> [Group] >> General Options
