I have tried to figure out how to install plugins for the past week and I am getting nowhere apart from frustrated.
None of the tutorials I can find are up to date and I'm completely lost.

as well as tables in posts; https://community.mybb.com/mods.php?action=view&pid=276

I really cannot figure out how to install these things, so step by step will be useful!

Icyboards free hosting has a separate system of plugins. you have to chose from readily available
plugins from that system only. we cannot install any other (custom) plugins as required.
