I want to change the word "search" at the top right to "advanced search". I  tried changing it from the header but it shows {$menu_search}

How do I change the text?

You can change that in language files. You want to change just that title of search link or something else too?

Well, no problem... I just went to my computer to find where exactly it is... So this is solved now?
