my avatar is huge (linked from steam)
but you see the reply with bot account the image size is normal (i think?)

how to make it so avatar url image repsect the max avatar dimension?

Hi.

You can do that by going to ACP -> Configuration -> Profile Options

And change "Maximum Avatar Dimensions". Maybe " Default Avatar Dimensions" too to match max.

hello that did not work
and by default it was set to 100x100 for both options

I know it's 100x100 bydefault...

Have you tryed reuploading avatar after setting this up?

Have you also checked your postbit_avatar template? The variable {$useravatar['width_height']} could be missing.

ok sorry i figured out the problem one of my plugin was updating the avatar
so it bypass the mybb avatar dimension check
but if i manually enter the avatar link to the image mybb wouldn't let me use it
