There's two plugins that are great:
Fast Quote, which quotes posts quickly with one click:

Quick Advanced Editor, which makes the quick reply box have formatting buttons:
https://community.mybb.com/mods.php?action=view&pid=28
However, no combination of Fast Quote + formatting in quick reply works. I've tried asking the Fast Quote dev but he shot me down.
Could someone make them work together, or create a plugin which did both things together? I really like this combination.
