So i just installed SimpleLikes (the latest version), and when i press install & activate, this pops up.

What version of MySQL are you using? SimpleLikes needs a relatively modern version that has the InnoDB storage engine available.

it'd be better to contact your web host for setting up InnoDB. [see also few search results]
