Is there a way of making it so when we set registration to admin approval that a email verification can be shown to admins?

This way we know who has valid email addy's? ON IPB a user must as well validate thier email that is sent which is then shown in ACP when a admin goes to approve the account?

Is it there, a mod etc?

That's not possible without a code modification.

This is a biggie to keep out spammers, trouble makers, etc.

1) You can set the "registration method" in the settings to be "Email Verification".
2) Then edit the "Registered" usergroup, and disable "Can Post New Threads, Can Post Replies" etc.
3) Create a new usergroup called "Approved Users" with the permission to post, etc
4) Once in a while check the "registered" usergroup for any new members, and move them to the "Approved Users" group.
