I'd like the user of a post to get an email when a rating takes place.

I like that to occur on a like, Rate Me A Funny and Thanks systems that are installed.

How would I go about doing this in version 1.8?

FWIW I have seven themes installed.

MyBB System's original rating : a custom plugin would be required.

Plugins' ratings : contact each plugin's coder
(or post in plugins' release / support topics)
