Full Version: Plugin template edits on new theme?

I added a new theme today and I have a good bit of plugins on my forum, I was wondering if I would have to go through ad make all the template edits to the new theme myself or if there was another way of doing this without disabling and re-enabling all the plugins again.
Depends on the plugins installed on your forum. Some plugins provides Uninstalled routine to fully uninstalled the plugins and use the activate/deactivate routine to re-place the variable on your templates.
Otherwise, you need to put the variables manually on your templates.
There is no way to accomplish this without hundreds of template edits?
as RateU suggested
most of the plugins can be deactivated & re-activated one by one to add the template changes to the themes

Yes I understand that fully but that would also reset the entire plugin as well.
^ in general, plugins' settings are expected to retain their values (depends on the plugin code)
