I added a spell checking feature to my boards. It doesn't require users to download anything like iespell does. I just can't decide the best location for the button. Should it be right below the text box or with the post thread, preview post and reset buttons?

For right now I think I'll leave it at the bottom of the textarea, maybe I'll move it later. As for languages, I guess it will support any that Aspell/Pspell support.

I don't see why it would. It doesn't query the database. It uses the Aspell/Pspell dictionaries compiled with perl/php.
