I don't have that stuff?!?!
Oh I know I just grabbed it off google it’s a example image so it doesn’t have the mybb files just ignore it.
If you have MyBB uploaded let me know your sites URL and I will find out for you.
Did you buy a domain off godaddy?1and1? or you trying to do localhost? or are you thinking you are automatically assigned a domain based off your SSN ?

Now if your talking about where you forum is located well let me explain. If you uploaded MyBB to your root so “/“ or “public_html/“ depends on your web host the URL will be http://YOURDOMAIN.com/install or if you create a new folder in your root and uploaded MyBB to it, it will be http://YOURDONAIN.com/FOLDERNAME/install.

Thats what im talking about, How do i find what to put in the part marked in-between < and >
http://<YOURDOMAIN>.com/FOLDERNAME/install
It seems you don't have a domain name if you are stuck at this stage. You need to avail of a hosting company first then register a name ( that's the <yourdomain> stage you are stuck on) and purchase it. Then use the Control Panel that comes with it to access the inbuilt File Manager to see the above folder image that Brian. provided. You can also use a free ftp utility like say FileZilla to access your domain/server either which will also show you a similar folder listing.
