Hey,

so I got the following problem. I installed GoogleSEO for MyBB. I enabled SEO URL's and renamed the htaccess.txt file to .htaccess (because URL's were still the same as before) and since that change all I got is just a blank page. I tried to delete that .htaccess file and used the default htaccess.txt file from the clean MyBB installation folder.

I olive up somewhere and I'm not sure how to fix it. I even tried a blank .htaccess with no content. Not working either.

Before I renamed the htaccess.txt file I wasn't able to see hidden files. Now I do. Maybe while I rename the htaccess.txt file to .htaccess I've overwritten the original .htaccess.

Any ideas how to fix this?

can you log into forum admin panel & look at plugins page
Google SEO plugin should be having some instructions listed there.
can you post them or the screenshot .. also what is your forum url ?

u need utf8mb4 to run that plugin, in Admin Panel » Tools & Maintenance » System Health » UTF-8 Conversion convert your tables to utf8mb4.
