Hey All,

I am sure this has maybe been answered before but I do need to ask this again and hopefully get an answer in rather simple terms 

I have setup a forum which I know isnt working to well or displays abit crappy right now at:

http://dblake.user3.archhosting.net/

I would like to change the URL above to: wow-tyrant.uk which I have purchased on gandi.net

What would I need to do this? Is it a case of simply getting the name servers from arch hosting and putting them onto gandi.net?

Or is this something I simply change in the forum settings.php file?

Getting quite confused on how to do this so any help would be great.

after changing the name servers & after domain propagation completes
you would also need to change the board url & cookie settings used for your forum.

first you can change above suggested settings in ~/inc/settings.php file

$settings['bburl'] = "http://wow-tyrant.uk";

$settings['cookiedomain'] = ".wow-tyrant.uk";
$settings['cookiepath'] = "/";

then you should be able to login to your forum admin panel
and change again board url & cookie settings to above suggested values
at the Site Details page of Configuration Section in forum admin panel
